Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme (L.C.V.P)
Should students’ subject choice meet certain conditions, they are eligible to follow the LCVP. This is the normal Leaving Cert. with the addition of two “Link Modules”: Enterprise Education and Preparation for the World of Work.
Students have two periods a week in which they focus on developing vocational skills, explore career options and prepare a portfolio detailing the work they have done. We encourage our students to take this programme because as well as teaching essential life and career skills, it also gives valuable points for college places.
